The Line-Ups
THE BAND
The band JAZZ & SODA can be booked in various line-ups depending on the event:
TRIO:
The TRIO in the configurations Piano-Bass-Drums or Saxophone-Piano-Bass is the smallest line-up of JAZZ & SODA and is particularly suited for background music at events with a duration of up to two hours.
For mobile events the option with Guitar instead of Piano is also available.
Quartet:
The QUARTET in the configurations Saxophone-Piano-Bass-Drums or Vocals-Piano-Bass-Drums is the mid-sized line-up of JAZZ & SODA, suitable as an exclusive and versatile background music for events with a playing time of up to three hours.
Quintet/Sextet
The QUINTET with vocals in the line-up Vocals-Saxophone-Piano-Bass-Drums is the large ensemble of JAZZ & SODA, suitable both as versatile background music and as a danceable highlight for events with longer playing times. Specifically for the party set, also available as a SEXTET with the addition of guitar.

ANDY MAYERL - Leader, Bass
With nearly 30 years in the music business as the bassist for Jose Feliciano, Georg Ringsgwandl, the Josefstadt-Theater and many others, Andy knows stages in Austria and abroad like the back of his hand. As the bandleader of JAZZ & SODA Andy assembles the line-up for your event. If any regular member is unavailable he selects an adequate replacement from a pool of long-time professionals, ensuring that JAZZ & SODA always performs with its usual high quality!
BETTINA KRENOSZ - Vocals
Betty's enchanting voice will make your event an exclusive experience. She captivates audiences in Vienna's most famous venues from the Musikverein to Hofburg.
HERB BERGER - Saxophone
Herb is a mainstay in the Austrian music scene, known for his exceptional musicality and versatility always paired with a great deal of good cheer.
CHRISTIAN FRANK - Piano
As the musical director for productions at the Josefstadt Theater, the Volksoper Vienna and the summer theaters in Amstetten and Mörbisch, Christian is a well-respected figure. We are delighted that he regularly finds time to perform with JAZZ & SODA!
WOLFI RAINER - Drums
Our BATMAN is one of the top drummers in the Austrian music scene. Sensitive or powerful - as needed!
CHRISTOPH HELM - Guitar
Christoph is the mastermind behind the showband THE BAD POWELLS and a long-time partner of JAZZ & SODA.
